Stormwater Wetland

Stormwater Wetland

Stormwater wetlands act as a horizontal flow wetland with an additional retention capacity. During low flows the wetland acts as a horizontal wetland and provides regular treatment. During storm flows, the system is able to retain the high flows and slowly release the wastewater over a longer duration provided increased capacity and treatment for systems with high I&I.
